Less than four years after launching, Amazon Business (AB) already generates more than $10 billion in global GMS, yet with an entitlement measured in the trillions we are still in our infancy. We need highly motivated finance professionals to help build Amazon’s next global retail business. Amazon Business covers every aspect of Amazon’s retail consumer experience, plus a layer of B2B complexity that we are only just beginning to figure out. You will work on problems with long-term impact, contribute to decisions that define our playbook, and produce insightful analytics that directly accelerate growth. We are looking for Amazonians with high ownership, strong backbone, and a bias for delivering quick, simple solutions to complex problems; who enjoy engaging with business partners; and who seek the challenge of providing strategic decision making support to a business with frequent S-Team visibility, while also building and improving foundational controllership mechanisms. · BA/BS degree in business, finance + MBA · 12+ years finance leadership with progressively increasing levels of responsibility · MBA from a top-tier college · CPA and/or CFA · Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel · Working knowledge of SQL · Highly analytical and detail oriented · Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions · Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment · Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · Customer focus and professional demeanor · Strong track record of business partnership
