Would you like the opportunity to lead businss planning strategy and business model innovation in Microsoft's fast-growing Modern Life and Devices Business? Microsoft is looking for a talented and experienced manager to lead the Business Planning team for our portfolio of Surface devices. The team works on a product portfolio that includes the multi-billion-dollar Surface franchise and a number of incubation projects.
In this role, you and your team will create shareholder value for Microsoft by directing and optimizing pricing, SKUs, and volume planning efforts for the Surface portfolio of devices. Your team's activities will range from the creation of new business models to the implementation of pricing for new and existing devices. You will manage individual contributors as well as a manager with a team, and your team's goal will be to simultaneously grow revenue, Gross Margin and profitability accross the Surface business. Required Qualifications: 10 years of experience in product management, corporate strategy, pricing, finance, or business development. (tech sector is ideal) 4 years of people management experience 3 years of professional working experience in SKU Strategy, Forecasting, Pricing and Portfolio planning or related work BS/BA degree Preferred Qualifications: Aptitude and the passion for both strategy formulation and program execution Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Understanding of pricing approaches and the economic principles behind them Ability to lead, coach,
