AWS Marketing is looking for a talented executive communications professional who is passionate about both cloud technology and storytelling and who is willing to dive deep into details to extract compelling customer success stories. In this role you will: · Investigate and write customer AWS use case descriptions that illustrate how customers are leveraging the capabilities of AWS' cloud platform to drive high-impact business outcomes · Summarize research into executive-ready talking points and recommendations · Compose compelling, succinct narratives for use by sales, marketing, and PR · Develop and curate a dynamic, information rich, database of high profile customer stories and executive speakers. · Partner with the field organization and service teams to help frame cloud use cases and solutions in the context of our customers’ challenges, their technical implementations, and the business benefits gained · Maintain fluency in the technical capabilities of AWS services in an environment
· 8+ years of experience in executive communications, enterprise or field marketing, customer references, or PR/AR in the technology sector · Superior oral and written communication skills · Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling customer reference material and marketing content · Knowledge of IT and cloud services · Demonstrated skills communicating and driving results with a wide variety of stakeholders including sale teams, technical consultants, product developers, business leaders and IT executives· Experience writing about technology · Experience in sales and/or channel management
