Amazon Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) is looking for a User Experience Designer to join our start-up Global Communities Group (GCG). GCG is building innovative and engaging new communities that connect critical third party partners and Amazon to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing and delight our end customer. This includes in-person events, combined with apps and awards programs that will take Amazon’s commitment to the success of our partners to the next level. We’re looking for someone with strong user interface, usability, and visual design skills to help design and build mobile websites, apps and other community platforms, as well design the look and feel of our other stakeholder communications tools such as emails and major components of our in-person events, such as theming, set designs, and other attendee experience items.
· 5+ years of experience as a user experience designer; · Bachelor's degree in design, or related degree; · An available portfolio or samples of work demonstrating user-centered design solutions; · Experience with a variety of design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver; · Knowledge of usability principles and techniques; · Experience providing detailed specifications and optimized HTML and CSS prototypes for development team; · Experience creating mockups and style guides; and · Experience creating other creative as needed, including infographics.· Demonstrated visual
