The cross border movement of goods continues to grow to support strategic initiatives such as Direct Imports, Private Label, Global Selling, Regional Inventory Sharing, and Global Logistics programs. Trade and Direct Import Product Compliance work closely with Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) and Global Trade Services (GTS) teams to automate the classification, import/export eligibility, customs clearance, and adherence to target-country consumer-safety regulations at Amazon’s massive scale by building innovative solutions that leverage ML, Computer Image Processing, and NLP. We are building out a new tech team in Seattle and need a single-threaded TPM to drive a major strategic initiative to build out new capabilities, integrate with existing capabilities across AGL and GTS, and work closely with leaders across these two Organizations. · Bachelor degree with a technical discipline, or equivalent experience required. · 7+ years of relevant work experience in technical program / project management in a mobile consumer electronics environment. · Experience with mobile application development, frameworks or distributed systems (cloud/server platform) engineering teams · Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets. · Experience analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection. · Experience with agile software
