The Advertising API team is lean, curious about new technologies, collaborative, and agile with a great spirit for building great products. We are seeking a Software Development Manager that shares our values and vision, responsible for defining and guiding the evolution and growth of our Pathfinder program, specifically focused on building the next generation of advanced advertising tools and SDKs for internal and external use. Amazon Advertising provides some of Amazon's fastest growing strategic businesses, such as Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands. Our global advertising tools provide self-service low-latency systems for multiple performance-based advertising programs with large ad inventories. It supports both automated and advertiser-specified optimization controls and features particular integrations for using product data from across the entire Amazon catalog as a source of ad content. · BA/BS or equivalent experience · 3-5+ years experience as a software development manager or equivalent experience in technology implementations involving software development· Experience working with large scale APIs and/or service-oriented architectures as a software development manager, lead, or developer · Strong understanding of the advertising industry and related technology · Masters degree in Computer Science or related field · Ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple
