Come help us build a world-class Public API framework as part of one of Amazon’s fastest growing strategic businesses – Performance Advertising. Our global platform provides self-service low-latency systems for multiple performance-based advertising programs with large ad inventories. We are growing at an unprecedented rate with a seemingly endless range of new opportunities, and have been a broad mandate to aggressively experiment and innovate. Our API team is looking for a seasoned front end engineer to lead the development of high-quality web and mobile front-end code, prototypes, and shared components used by customers of our API and feed ingestion systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, security and all the other things
· 2-4 years of experience as a front end engineer, web developer, UI developer or similar role. · An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating a variety of great user-centered solutions in web and mobile. · Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based front-end engineering. · Proficiency using modern web development technologies and techniques, including JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS, Responsive Design, web services, etc. · Experience developing AJAX interfaces with Object Oriented JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g. Node, React, Angular, JQuery, etc.) or other popular web frameworks
