In this position you will provide both strategic and tactical oversight to build the features and functionality required to have a best in class offering for Kindle customers. You will work to design, plan, and implement the Kindle Content Store on all website, Kindle, and third party device platforms. The ideal candidate will have: · Degree in Computer Science or related field · 10+ years of relevant engineering experience · 7+ years of technical experience as software developer, software development manager, or related role · 3+ years of relevant experience as a software development manager · Experience with large scale webserver infrastructure · Experience with Java, Linux/Unix, Perl and UNIX tools · Experience in Agile/Scrum software development practices · Deep hands-on technical expertise · Strong business and technical vision · A deep understanding of software development in a team, and
