The OneDrive and SharePoint Sync Fundamentals team is currently looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Performance and Scalability efforts for sync across Windows and macOS platforms. This team has ambitious and exciting goals for optimizing all aspects of sync performance to lead the industry. In addition, we plan to break current scale boundaries to meet the needs of the growing dataset sizes of our customers.
As an Engineering Manager on the OneDrive and SharePoint Sync Fundamentals team, you will work with your counterparts in Program Management and Engineering to understand customer and business requirements and make product and funding tradeoffs to meet them. You will use your leadership to support your team in designing, implementing, stabilizing, and monitoring changes that improve the OneDrive and SharePoint sync experience for customers in new and powerful ways. Required qualifications 7+ years of delivering production software and services Great leadership Ability to build and grow healthy productive teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent project management skills Track record of collaboration across teams to deliver fantastic results Ability to drive solutions to ambiguous, complicated problems Ability to work well with talented peers A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or the equivalent Preferred qualifications Strong design and programming skills in C/C++ Experience with distributed systems
