A new AWS Service development team is looking for a software development manager to manage the team of software development engineers who are building systems to interact with a wide variety of cloud technologies We have a need for a Software Development Manager who can lead and build teams to deliver solutions that will delight our customers.
· A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team of software development professionals within a distributed systems environment. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as equivalent · Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field · Past experience in at least one of the following areas – Information Retrieval, Data Mining, Text Analysis or Machine Learning · Excellent verbal and written communication
