Amazon's Finance Technology organization (FinTech) builds and maintains the finance technology platforms and services that enable new business growth, compliance with financial and tax reporting obligations, and analysis of our financial data. Through our products, we aim to enable Finance teams to focus on high value analysis, reduce the growth of operating expenses, and improve the vendor experience. We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented, and inventive Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead the development of a new headcount management application. You will get an opportunity to build a software product from ground zero, drive key design decisions, and own the technical roadmap. You will work closely with software engineering, product management, and UX design teams to define system architectures, drive clarity around product requirements, discuss technical trade-offs, and set release timelines. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline - 5+ years of relevant work experience in Technical Program and/or Product Management or leading large scale and complex software development projects in an agile environment with aggressive schedules - 5+ years’ experience working with cross functional technical teams and business units to design, develop, and implement new systems or solutions - Possess a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle - Ability to code in at least one object oriented programing language (e.g. Java, Python)
