Microsoft Business Operations is the business operations team for the company. We launch, we transact, we improve and protect processes, and we close gaps. We make doing business with Microsoft easy! The Data Engineering team in Microsoft Business Operations is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help us on our journey from On Premise servers thru Azure IaaS and into Azure PaaS. We are also on a Journey to embrace DevOps and are looking for SREs with experience in Scaled Agile/DevOps environments.

The Data Engineering team is responsible for delivering engineering services to Microsoft Business Operations. We are currently on a journey from legacy on premise server based applications, through our first steps into Azure with IaaS, and are now looking to move onto consume PaaS. We are looking for SE's/SWE's/SRE's with an interest in engineering large data systems to help us deliver robust reliable, scalable solutions to our users in MBO, across Microsoft, and out to our OEMs and Commercial Partners. Basic Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required. 6 years' minimum experience in Software Engineering, Software Development, or Site Reliability Engineering. Preferred Qualifications: We try not to have too many formal qualifications, since mindset and demonstrated ability are more important, but previous successful candidates have often had some or all the following: Advanced knowledge of relational database
