Do you want to be at the center of large open-source communities? We are looking for a Sr Manager of Product Management - Technical for the Amazon ElastiCache team. Amazon ElastiCache is an open-source Redis and Memcached compatible service. Redis is one of the largest and fastest growing open-source datastores. Redis is loved by developers due to its ease-of-use, sophisticated data structures, and ultra-high-performance. Amazon ElastiCache helps developers turbocharge their application performance and simplifies management of Memcached and Redis data stores in the cloud. We believe that in-memory distributed systems such as Redis are in their infancy. We are innovating on many fronts including new unique features for in-memory use-cases and improvements in availability, performance, scalability, and more
· An extensive background (7+ years) in product management · Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements · 5+ years of experience leading project delivery for large, cross functional programs · Proven verbal and written communication skills, presenting to senior executives· Prior management experience of a Product Management, Software Engineering, or other related team · MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred · Previous experience managing Software-as-a-Service technology products and managed services. · Understanding of the Enterprise
