Senior Manager of Product Management, Fire Tablets Software As Senior Manager of Product Management for Fire Tablets Core Experience, you and your team will own and drive the software and services vision and strategy for Fire Tablets, and oversee the development and management of product roadmaps based on that strategy and vision. You will work closely with software engineering teams, design, finance and marketing leaders as well as Amazon senior management to define and execute your vision. You will also have exposure across Amazon working closely with teams including Kindle, Amazon Video, Music, Appstore, Amazon Media Group (advertising), retail shopping, personalization, search, and many others. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers love and that drive deeper engagement with the
· Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline · 10+ years of consumer facing software product management experience · Experience working on Android, iOS, Windows or other mobile software/applications · Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines · Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules· BA or Master’s degree · Passion for digital media and the mobile space · Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment · Strong verbal and written communication
