Technologies (SCOT) Team Supply Chain Optimization
The Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) Team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to lead the SCOT FP and A team. The SCOT team is responsible for automating and optimizing Amazon’s world-class supply chain. It tackles some of the most complex supply chain problems at a scale that’s never been done before. The successful candidate will work with senior leaders across the SCOT Business and Finance teams to provide insights and drive strategic decisions. Candidates should have a good understanding of supply chain, a relentless drive towards improving and simplifying processes, a passion for automation, and ability to deal with ambiguity. Responsibilities include: · Working with business and finance leaders to establish and track goals for the team · Leading the roadmap planning cycle · Forecasting and planning operating and infrastructure expenses for a large ($xxxMM) business unit · Driving the operating profit improvement process with over $xB annual savings · Leading
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance with prior controllership experience · Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field · Strong interpersonal and communication skills — including written and oral communication · Ability to consistently meet deadlines, and provide well-vetted reporting and business recommendations · Advanced analytical skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment· MBA or MS in Finance, Economics or a related field · Demonstrated ability to drive change, including automating and simplifying processes · Facilitating
