The Cloud and AI Finance Team is chartered with helping to manage and drive the strategically important Azure set of services. The team is an advocate for growth and scale, helps establish and drive both tactical and strategic business execution, assesses business performance and generates critical insights, forms investment and trade-off decisions, and helps shape business transformation. As part of our charter, we provide analytical insights to understand our business performance, drive growth, and engage with financial planning activities. The team partners closely with the Marketing Group, Engineering, Field finance, CFT, and multiple other groups across Microsoft. In this role you will: • Own the financial rhythm for the Azure Unmanaged sales motion, including: performance insights, quarterly forecast, and annual target setting • Partner with, and provide leadership for, other product finance teams to rationalize investments and results with the GDC • Lead a team of four finance professionals. Assess resourcing and recommend optimal set of roles and responsibilities for the GDC finance team • Build business knowledge on the key growth levers for the GDC. Leverage knowledge to lead analytics efforts to provide insights on business execution and recommendations
• 10+ years of Finance experience, including significant senior-level leadership roles • People management experience with demonstrated excellence • Polished interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated drive; ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines • Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, creating effective business partnerships • Ability to lead and influence business partners through executive maturity
