Have you ever thought about what it takes to detect and prevent fraudulent purchases among hundreds of millions of e-Commerce transactions across the globe? The Customer Trust and Partner Support (CT and PS) organization is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) for the Bad Debt Finance team. CT and PS employees over 15,000 employees who provide support to Amazon's Selling Partners while also ensuring that we protect Amazon customers from bad actors. CT and PS is responsible for preventing fraudulent purchases across nearly every Amazon product line. Fraud prevention is a real-money game where we strive to outsmart those who attempt to defraud Amazon and our customers. The SFA will be a key player in providing financial insights to business leaders and other finance partners across Amazon. This person will own centralized reporting and monitoring of company-wide bad debt and play a key controllership role. The SFA will be a Finance subject matter expert for company-wide bad debt,
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent · Minimum 5 years of finance experience, or master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience · Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills · Advanced to Expert user of Excel · Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with superior attention to detail · Experience with COGNOS and SQL · Understanding of accounting concepts, investigating large data sets, and problem solving · Motivated
