Come work at Amazon! The Role: As a Principal Digital RF Engineer, you will act as a subject matter expert in large aperture phased array antennas and multi-beam beamforming. You will interact with experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative product solutions. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team, and third party suppliers to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and optimization. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. In this technical leadership role of the Digital RF Systems team, you will be responsible for definition, simulation, and high-level implementation (Matlab™/C/C++/System C™/HDL) of massive MIMO beamforming systems. · Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience · 10+ years of experience in RF design, HW DSP design, DSP algorithm, or SDR implementation experience . Direct experience in Multi-beam digital beamforming phased array systems · Experience in wireless system simulation, design and architecture, system integration, RF system analysis · Hands on experience with deployed RF communication systems · Master’s / PhD degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering or related field · Matlab, C/C++, Python simulation experience .
