· · BS/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering discipline · 8+ years’ experience in the consumer electronics, robotics, industrial production, or other mechatronics industry as an electrical engineer · Ph.D. in relevant Engineering field · Experience with device-driver development within in a GNU/Linux development environment · Working knowledge of optics · Experience working with fast-paced cross-functional teams · Expert in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability · Demonstrated strong ability to move seamlessly between levels of abstraction
