Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to be a key member in Amazon Devices Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to join one of the most innovative businesses at Amazon. The Finance Analyst will work with a team developing new, exciting and cutting-edge products for consumers. As a Financial Analyst, you will work with business leaders to build financials supporting the strategy of engaging with technology and content partners to bring their content and experiences to Amazon customers. Job responsibilities include: · Developing the business case and the financial models for new Products and streams of Revenue. · Partnering with Business Development, Marketing, and Product Management teams to understand and influence the financials of new Products we launch. · Working closely with a newly launched business team to test and develop new ideas and business models for emerging products. · Driving Forecast and budgets for the new streams of
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. · 2+ years’ experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools · 2+ years’ experience with Excel advanced functions (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups · General understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles · Experience working with large-scale data mining
