Amazon seeks a strong Senior Financial Analyst as a key member of the International Emerging Finance team. This is an opportunity to be part of Amazon’s growth story around the world, driving best practices while addressing the unique challenges of doing business in different countries. The individual will lead development of P and L for potential expansions and/or acquisitions as well as perform analyses as key decision support to the leadership for various consumer launch initiatives. This role requires close interaction with other International Expansion business teams and partnering with various stakeholders including local finance teams in Emerging markets, International FP and A, and other functional teams. The individual will engage with other country finance teams to identify and adopt best practices or lessons learnt from other markets. BA/BS + 5 years of corporate experience or MBA + 3 years of corporate experience · MBA or other advanced degree in mathematics, statistics or economics · Experience performing financial and analyses using advanced Excel functionality · Experience and ability to use Cognos, SQL etc · Excellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management · Strong attention to detail · Strong ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment · Strong ability to take initiative and self-start when necessary Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action
