Operations Engineering team North America Customer
The North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Operations Engineering team is seeking a talented and passionate Database Engineer (DBE) to design, architect and maintain DB systems to support our global team. Successful candidates will be natural self-starters who are comfortable leading this initiative with a great deal of autonomy. This individual will informally lead a team of support personnel and coordinate the resources required to launch new tools. This position requires the ability to interact closely with key stakeholders (internal and external) supporting and leading design efforts on variety of tools. This includes the full project lifecycle from conception to architecting, engineering, designing, reviewing and deploying new tools by partnering with various business teams in addition to end-to-end management of existing tools/applications used by our customers. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. · 3+ years of data modeling, ETL development, and RDBMS experience with MySQL databases · 2+ years of working with Amazon Web Services (RDS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Cognito, etc.) · Experience with 3rd party application integrations · Ability to monitor, manage, and optimize highly-transactional, scalable, distributed environments/schemas and service-oriented systems · Experience in security, resource, schema, and capacity management · Demonstrated strength in trouble-shooting and root cause identification/mitigation · Knowledge of
