Find your future with us.The Boeing Company's Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization is currently seeking a Computing and Cloud Solution Architect (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM) team in either Kent, WA; El Segundo, CA; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; or Seattle, WA.
The position will focus on supporting the cloud application and Information Technology (IT) infrastructure environments for Siemens Teamcenter suite of applications used by engineering and product support and services supporting Boeing defense programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs and deploys cloud-based solutions of high complexity leveraging cloud service provider (CSP) native services and reference patterns
Partners with relevant stakeholders in the Information technology and business teams on existing and new cloud-based products/services and solutions of high complexity in line with standards defined by the enterprise team. Leads developers to deploy and support complex applications in a public cloud environment, evaluate performance and implement enhancements
Leads implementation of cloud services and integration with in-house applications and systems
Delivers and supports infrastructure-as-code solutions of high complexity focused on full application stack, including infrastructure and software
Defines requirements and designs and verifies routine architecture, data and information management systems and components
Prepares initial design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements
Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle
Develops and maintains architecture views and models
Performs initial assessments of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives
Performs initial assessment of product suitability for integration into delivery system environments
Drafts data and information management products and service standards
Assists with assessment of impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Configuration Management of data and associated release systems (eg. Teamcenter or Enovia)
3+ years of experience with Information Technology architecture including cloud and data architecture in a large-scale, hybrid cloud and on-prem environment
3+ years of experience with developing software with application integration and system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools
3+ years of experience in system and software architectures
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active Secret clearance or higher
Experience with cloud technologies
Experience with architecture modeling
Experience with architecture roadmaps
Experience in Agile or Scaled Agile Frameworks
Experience in DevSecOps
Typical Education & Experience:
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
Senior (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $108,800 – $157,550
Summary pay range for Senior: $123,250 – $179,400
