Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS) is looking for a Software Development Manager to lead a software development team working on key strategic projects, frequently involving open source contribution. This leader will own staffing and managing the engineering team, product development, open source engagement, best practices, planning and interacting with leadership both inside and outside AWS. The successful candidate will be able to deal with ambiguity and will need to think big. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the potential of containerized computing, capable of navigating large open source projects, and be passionate about customer-centric products. The candidate is a leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong team.
