Amazon Web Services (AWS) Device Farm is looking for brilliant software development engineers to build a world-class device cloud service. There will be 20B+ connected devices in the world by 2020, with millions of developers writing apps for those. AWS Device Farm brings devices closer to the developers by providing them instantaneous remote access to real devices in AWS cloud. As an SDE in AWS Device Farm, you will be part of an inter-disciplinary team of Software Development Engineers, Systems Development Engineers and Network Engineers who are building next generation device cloud to support a rapidly growing variety of device types, form factors, architectures, communication protocols, programming languages and testing frameworks. The systems underlying the offering are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from edge computing, to front end user experience, to a set of robust backend services, to system engineering. In addition to the technical challenges provided
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields · 3+ years of production software development or equivalent experience · Strong computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithm design and problem solving skills· Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields · Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations. · Demonstrated proficiency and experience
