Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team of talented software engineers to work on Amazon’s Third Party Software infrastructure. The AWS Third Party Software Team owns making it easy for Amazon engineers to use open source software. From tools and services to bring third party software from outside Amazon into our systems and services, to ensuring this software is secure and up to date, the Third Party Software Team is dedicated to delivering on-demand, simple and secure solutions. As a software development engineer, you will design, develop, and support world class services and applications used to deliver software that gets released to millions of customers. You will work with remarkable engineers, business leaders, and other talented engineering teams while you design, architect, and code robust and stable solutions. Experience with industry best practices for package and dependency management solutions for popular programming languages
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field · Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's Degree based or 3 years of work experience for every 1-year of education · 5+ years professional experience in software development · Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures · Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis · Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Perl· MS or PhD in Computer Science · Experience with native package and dependency
