We're looking for an experienced writer to produce technical documentation for Amazon Web Services products. Do you have the software development/deep technical background necessary to maintain Amazon as the premier player in cloud computing and web services technology? As a Technical Writer on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security team, you will engage the service team, partners, and customers to create and update service documentation in a cross-functional, distributed environment. · A minimum of 8 years in a technical writing or lead writing role · Proven experience designing and delivering developer-oriented documentation · Experienced using multiple documentation tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles · Experience with XML-based publishing systems · Experience working directly with development teams· Degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field highly desirable · Strong grammar skills · Strong written and verbal communication skills · A understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) · An understanding of authentication and authorization
