Are you excited by Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)? The technical documentation team for Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Senior Documentation Manager for our ML/AI documentation team. In this role, you will lead our efforts to create and enhance our documentation for several AWS services, including Amazon SageMaker, Comprehend, DeepLens, DeepRacer, Lex, Polly, Textract, AWS Deep Learning AMIs, and more. You will manage a team of Programmer Writers who write content for these services, primarily focused on the developer, data science, and IT pro/systems administrator audiences. You will be responsible for developing and growing the writers on your team. Your team documents both new services and new features for existing services; improves existing documentation; and manages feedback loops with customers. As a technical leader, you set the standard for excellence for our documentation, ensuring that we deliver technically accurate, well-written, simple, and customer-focused
· Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Mathematics, Journalism, or equivalent · At least 10 years of technical communication experience · At least 5 years of people management experience · Hands-on development experience and experience with XML-based publishing systems · Experience with XML-based publishing systems and experience using multiple documentation tools to write, format, manage, and publish high-quality content· Knowledge and experience with machine learning frameworks (such as Apache MxNet, TensorFlow, etc.) and related tools (e.g., Jupyter notebooks) ·
