As a Senior Software Engineer in M365 Security Engineering you will help Microsoft be ready for attack, specifically by developing the intelligent software necessary to accurately emulate an adversary so that Microsoft can be more prepared for its adversaries. We are developing tools that use AI to help us scale and gamify security offense. Responsibilities include: Security Tool and Service Development – Contribute to a malicious software toolset and service that enhances M365's ability to exercise its resilience to malicious techniques, both exploit and post-exploit. Emerging Threat Research - Being on the forefront of emerging threats which impact online services and customers. This includes research of externally found exploits and post-exploit techniques,
Recommended Previous Experience: Use of Exploitation\Post Exploitation frameworks (such as Metasploit) Artificial Intelligence including traditional AI Malware development Python Cloud service development (Azure, AWS, etc.) C# Networking
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science, Bachelors, BA, BA CS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering degree or equivalent experience At least 5 years of Software Design and Development experience Preferred Qualifications: A passion for Artificial Intelligence Strong Development skills, experience with multiple different languages Working knowledge of Information Security basics Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
