Datapath is a foundational computation platform that is core to Amazon’s eCommerce business. Amazon customers using Kindle, Prime, Instant Video, Music, Fulfillment, or just shopping online, depend on a highly available server backend provided by the Datapath platform. Engineers on the Datapath team design, build, and maintain highly scalable distributed systems that execute business logic, authored by teams across Amazon, millions of times per second in real-time. We are looking for a Sr. Technical Writer to own developer-facing documentation that is key for providing a great customer experience. You will develop and edit content such as tutorials, quick-start guides, developer guides, conceptual overviews, API documentation, sample code, and web content. · Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Learning Technology, or related field · Minimum 5 years of experience writing technical documentation · Experience working directly with technical subject matter experts· Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills · Experience in creating content for a developer audience · Experience writing for an international audience · Familiarity with programming languages
