Core Services Engineering and Operations (CSEO) is looking for a Voice Designer/UX Writer with killer technical writing and strategy skills to create highly impactful content for a broad base of experiences. CSEO designs and builds the critical products and services that Microsoft runs on. We are in the business of meaningful and productive employee experiences, smart buildings, sales optimization, retail practices and other important core experiences. Within CSEO there is a newly developed Studio UX Team made up of UX designers, UX researchers and Inclusivity experts who work end-to-end, offering a start-up like opportunity within Microsoft. As a UX Content Strategist, you will lead and develop the voice and tone as well as copywrite of all the experiences we build in CSEO. You'll help shape and evolve processes, structure, and systems to produce outcomes that can be explained in authentic, simple, human and unintimidating ways to solve real world problems. Create and drive the content strategy for CSEO products and services Set tone and voice for our products and services by developing content guidelines and patterns for others to follow Define and synthesize user requirements Write documentation, UI text and continuously iterate Collaborate closely with UX research and design to ensure that content quality meets customer needs and is integrated within the product Follow content publishing workflow and comply with structured authoring guidance Conduct content evaluations and analyze customer data for content effectiveness Effectively communicate
10+ years of experience planning, writing, editing, and creating content strategy for products and/or services with a global reach Background in UX content and voice Experience collaborating with Design and User Research Strong critical thinking skills shown in an end-to-end product lifecycle
