AWS is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager for the AWS Managed Services team. You will be program managing delivery engagements that will be led by our partners and ensuring successful delivery through all phases of the implementation life cycle. You will work closely with other AWS teams to ensure that the enablement of the customer’s environment are smoothly executed. You will work hand-in-hand with senior executives on opportunities to improve customers’ IT services. You will work across customer organizations, AWS partners and multiple AWS teams to ensure customers’ infrastructure and applications are well designed and scale to the needs of their business. You must possess customer facing skills that enable you to represent AWS well within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding program delivery, trade-offs, best practices, and risk management. · Bachelor’s degree · 8+ years technical program management · 5+ years of experience working in a customer facing delivery role · Knowledge of networking and access protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory · IT Process Design Experience· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field · Experience developing of a full infrastructure stacks from the OS up through custom applications · Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment · Presentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences · Experience delivering technical
