The Global Operations Systems team’s mission is to support robust, highly available, and easy to use services for our internal customers across the global enterprise. We are looking for Engineers who are proficient in all aspects of system administration and engineering to support and maintain global infrastructure services in our enterprise. We are responsible for supporting back-end systems, which are used by all Amazonians for daily business products including but not limited to: Exchange, Active Directory, Lync, SharePoint, System Center Configuration Manager, MS SQL Server, IronPort, remote access VPN, Xen, Secure Printing, internally developed tools, and
· Bachelor degree in an engineering field or relevant experience. · 3+ years experience supporting a Microsoft Enterprise ecosystem (SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, etc.) in large scale (over 10,000 users) global environments. · 5+ years of industry experience as a Systems Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer or equivalent. · 3+ years of building automation and tools to streamline operational processes. · Proficient use of at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, C#, etc.) · The ability to think at scale and automate processes · Strong written and verbal communication
