Amazon's Device and Services Design Group is a central design studio responsible for developing products and platforms from the Echo, to Alexa Communications, and Fire TV and tablet. We are looking for a senior design leader to help envision and execute best-in-class multi-modal, visual, and voice forward experiences with a multi-disciplinary design team, and working strategically with our business and engineering partners to bring new products to market. As a Sr. Manager, UX Design, you are a player-coach who can deliver through hands-on design and be a leader who can steward design and partner team through the product design and development cycle. You are a customer-focused, design-thinking, creative leader who has successfully designed and delivered consumer products at broad scale. With your strong design, business, and technology fluency, you’re able to think big and while staying connected to the details and execution. · Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent professional experience · 10+ years of experience designing complex consumer facing digital products and experiences · 5+ years of experience as a lead/senior creative contributor, or creative director · A strong portfolio of innovative design work that demonstrates industry-leading design and business success · Experience leading projects in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team including designers, hardware engineers, writers, product managers and software developers · Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills · Experience with
