Amazon is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the inventory and supply chain management team of the Amazon Home Entertainment business in the US. This role will manage a team responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies to maximize sales and reduce supply chain costs. They will have responsibility for 1) ensuring all inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business, and 2) partnering with centralized teams to develop systemic enhancements. It is a pivotal role that will contribute to the evolution and success of a complex and growing businesses. The successful candidate commands a highly quantitative/analytical skillset, exercises superb business judgment, and possesses strong people management skills. The position requires a multi-faceted individual; one that has the ability to lead a team and influence others while also working autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment. · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain/Operations · 5 + years supply chain, inventory management, retail and/or project management experience · 3+ years experience as a people leader · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manipulate large, complex sets of data; Excel skills are required. · Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations. · High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing
