The Role: In this role, you will create, maintain, and use dynamics and control tools such as simulations, linear analyses, authoring control loop and estimator designs, specifying sensor, computer and actuator performance, performing trade studies and robustness analysis, integrating, debugging and validating component systems, specifying, writing and testing real time flight software. The assignment will also require identifying, hiring and mentoring senior and junior staff responsible for elements of all the above tasking.
· 7+ years experience in the discipline of dynamics and control · Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics or Applied Mathematics · 2+ years management experience including budget, staff leadership and project control responsibilities · Experience with multi-rate mixed analog/discrete control system analysis · Aerospace experience with flight vehicles · Real-time embedded SW development experience · Demonstrated ability to fly a successful product · Experience with computational fluid dynamics · Software specification, test and life-cycle experience · Advanced Degree in Aerospace Engineering
