Come work at Amazon! The Role: As a RF Systems Simulation Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative wireless products. You will work closely with the RF systems team to simulate designs and recommend alternative / corrective actions to improve the team’s solutions. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. As part of the RF Systems Integration team, you will be responsible for determining the RF performance of alternative solutions, ensuring bit error rates / regulatory compliance / mitigation for interference / etc., meet system requirements, and determining best allocation of many RF resources in a system
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience · 5+ years of experience in RF design or simulation · Experience in wireless system design and RF system analysis · Hands on experience with RF simulation software· Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience · Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills · Experience with current and upcoming RF standards in cellular (4G/5G), WiMAX, 802.11ad, microwave backhaul, or similar broadband wireless standards. · General communication Theory, OFDM, MIMO, Digital/Wireless
