Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Supply Chain for Global Specialty Fulfillment, which drives operations for some of Amazon’s most exciting and fast paced initiatives: Prime Now, Fresh, Pantry, Amazon Go, and others. An efficient supply chain network is a critical success factor for these businesses, and this role will provide important insights to measure that efficiency. This role will own financial controllership for all inbound transportation costs for the US network, providing critical insight in reporting, planning, and cost out projects. Additionally, this role will own project support for forecasting total inbound costs for new business initiatives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diving deep and managing complex datasets while deriving and communicating insights at a higher level. · BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias · · 3+ years’ relevant experience in positions that require analysis, reporting financial results, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results · · 2+ years’ experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools · · 2+ years’ experience with Excel advanced functions (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups) · · General understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles· MBA preferred
