Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sales and Marketing (SMS) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP and A) group. The FP and A team is responsible for managing financial rhythms of the business, including the annual operating plan, regular forecast process, and for providing analytical support to senior management. The role operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and influences the decisions of business leaders both within AWS and across the broader Amazon through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Primary responsibilities include: · Lead key financial processes including monthly forecasting, month end close, headcount and OPEX management. · Serve as liaison to the other FP and A teams to support reporting requirements and drive cross functional alignment between all teams on deliverables
