AWS Finance seeks a world class Senior Financial Analyst to support the AWS Service FP and A organization. Key responsibilities will include: · Leading monthly reviews of financial metrics, analyzing variances, understanding key business drivers, and communicating findings to senior management. · Acting as a key finance senior on a cross-functional and highly technical team. · Executing process improvement initiatives and build scalable systems to support business growth. · Building financial models to provide deeper insight into capacity planning and capital spending. · Driving optimization opportunities/initiatives and implementing new business processes to improve capital
· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field · 5+ years relevant experience in positions with analytical responsibilities · Advanced Excel and business modeling skills · Strong financial modeling skills, including knowledge of SQL, IBM COGNOS TM1. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion. · Excellent attention to detail, strong problem solving skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity. · Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally. · Excellent verbal and written communications
