Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Event Marketing Manager to manage the hallmark component of a highly visible event component for AWS’s global events. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role on a rapidly growing event marketing team. In this role you will be the program manager and owner of the Global Keynotes. You will effectively project manage the program with multiple internal stakeholders while being responsible to manage the budget and timeline, and oversee a variety of vendor and venue partners to ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality keynote. You will also utilize exceptional communication skills to manage leadership reviews and post event debriefs. Responsibilities · Develop detailed program playbooks and project plans, including programs goals assessed with leadership through narrative writing. This includes budget management and scope / SOW assessment. · Screen size and production best practices. Media tech specs
· 10+ years of relevant experience in event management and event marketing. · Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study. · Ability to work independently and autonomously. · Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize projects. Preferred Qualifications · Comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams such as Executive Communications, Customer Engagement, leadership and vendors. · Not afraid to try new things, be quirky and think
