We are looking for a world-class Principal Silicon Architect specializing in Power Modeling and Optimization focused on next-generation devices from wearables to data centers. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who will thrive in this highly technical environment.

Your job responsibility will be developing an architecture level power and power/performance modeling methodology, creating and owning power models for a diverse set of products and form factors, and driving thermal power and battery life optimizations across the designs. Build high quality power models and projections for new generations of SoC in various form factors, technologies and systems Work with system and software architects to define thermal and battery life scenarios and translate these to design targets and measurable benchmarks to be used through-out the architecture, implementation
Minimum Requirements: BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering. 7+ years of experience in silicon design and/or architecture 3+ years of hands on experience in pre-silicon power modeling and optimization Proven track record of successful design of IPs and SoCs. Demonstrated ability to develop detailed power estimates from higher level feature, function and performance requirements. Track record of team technical leadership and individual technical contribution on challenging projects. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with more junior team members to raise their skill level
