The Amazon Music Creative team is seeking a talented, passionate expert Copywriter and Copy Strategist to help us elevate and redefine our use of written and spoken language, across Marketing, Programming, Product, and Voice experiences. This Lead Writer will set the reference voice and tone for our English-language experience across all touchpoints – and also inform how that voice and tone is represented across our 35 global regions and 20+ languages. In this position, you’ll have a significant impact on the customer experience as you take a leadership role in the Creative Studio team as Amazon Music continues to rapidly evolve. You will be an advocate for the power of language and the Amazon Music brand’s use of it. The Lead Writer should have deep knowledge and practical experience in copywriting, providing leadership from design concept to final asset creation – for many media – audio, video, print, digital, OOH, and interactive voice. As well, the Lead Writer should be comfortable

· 7-10+ years experience as a Copy Writer, Content Strategist, Art Director (copy-focused,) Linguist, or similar role · Experience leading copy standards and examples for a high volume of conceptual and production work · Passion for creating scalable processes that elevate the strategic impact of language and writing · Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills· Experience with scaling creative copywriting in a globally distributed organization · Passion for copy writing, language, user experience, creative direction, and editorial design · Experience managing marketing
