Head of Xbox Safety Xbox is looking for an innovative leader to become its Head of Xbox Safety. In this role, you and your work will contribute to our ongoing mission of making Xbox a place where everyone has fun. You will be responsible for driving online Safety efforts that bring people together and help to create an environment where everyone can be equal in the world of gaming. As Head of Xbox Safety, you will lead the dedicated team of program and operations managers that help keep gamers safe. Scope of Role and Responsibilities Guide the Vision –Your job will be to own and shape a Safety vision that will contribute to our ongoing mission of making Xbox a place where everyone has fun. Responsibilities will include using customer experience data to develop insights, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities to affect change. Promote Principles through Policy – Xbox is a social community with real people. Your job will be to keep that community safe while representing principles related to transparency, empathy, choice, and reassurance. You will steward these principles into community
Basic Qualifications Leadership, Innovation and Change Management – Clear examples of leading teams through ideation and the implementation of innovation at large scale. Span of Control – 10+ years of experience leading significant-sized groups Technical – 8+ years of experience leading feature-level developer or PM teams responsible for public-facing mission-critical work Education - BA/BS/CS or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Gaming Experience - Familiarity with the game console market and video game culture Safety, Security, Risk - Experience leading or effectively engaging within these
