Does an opportunity to shape In-stock and supply chain strategy for an entire country excite you? If yes, this role might be right for you. Amazon Canada is looking for an experienced, results-oriented senior leader who thrives on solving complex problems to develop a country-level Inventory and Supply Chain strategy across multiple product categories, in an effort to better serve our Canadian customers and reduce costs. This is a highly visible position that requires a candidate to collaborate with the Canada Country Leader and various senior leaders from FC Operations, Transportation, SCOT, Sales and Operations Planning, and Retail category teams to develop long term strategy and lead through others to execute flawlessly towards a goal of improving inventory availability, speed of delivery, capacity planning, and cost reduction. The role is a blend of managing a team of in-stock managers and a PM dedicated to Operational Excellence initiatives, and providing leadership to entire In-stock
· Bachelor’s degree · 8+ years of relevant senior level experience in Retail, In-stock, and Supply Chain management · Experience leading teams · Experience developing and driving strategies · Polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating · Superior analytical abilities and quantitative skills. Comfortable with complex financial data · Proficient in Excel · MBA Preferred · Excellent business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills · High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced environment start-up like environment – figuring it out and
