The Role This
Join the team that launched the first-ever brick and mortar retail store!! The Role This position is a Lead EA role for the organization, providing administrative support for the leader of the Amazon Books and Amazon 4-Star businesses and Director of Customer Experience. A successful candidate will be at the center of the Amazon Physical Stores team and will be part of the glue that helps our team operate efficiently, effectively and happily. THE RESPONSIBILITIES: Calendaring: Strategically manage calendars. Find ways to maximize executives’ time, scheduling meetings in the most efficient ways and proactively anticipating calendaring needs. Assist in meeting prep as needed. Travel and Expenses: Manage and submit Expenses and travel. Assist in preparing trip agendas. Understand the business: Understand the business to help maximize team’s time. Help prioritize the right meetings for your leaders and the overall team. Work with partner teams to understand the larger business cadence and anticipate

· Experience providing executive support assistance at senior leadership levels · Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills · Experience in event management · Experience in complex high-volume calendar management · Experience in travel planning and coordination · Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time · Project management experience · Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency · Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word management skills· 5+ years of prior executive assistant experience
