MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: Amazon Web Services, Inc., an Amazon.com company Position Title: Enterprise Account Engineer II Location: Seattle, WA Position Responsibilities: Leverage knowledge of customer environments to assist support engineers and service teams with the design and architecture of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and hybrid cloud solutions. Define IT and business processes within cloud deployments. Troubleshoot technical issues and drive escalations. Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and detailed pre-launch planning. Analyze operational performance and present periodic reviews to customer. Recommend new AWS offerings to fit within company architecture. Engage with customer to understand business needs. Use key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of concerns. Participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or related occupation must include: hands-on systems administration networking, and troubleshooting; experience with software design, content distribution, CDN, scripting, automation, database architecture, IP networking, IT security, and BigData or Hadoop; and Systems Administration in Linux or Windows, operations management, and service oriented architecture
