The Prime Air Propulsion Team is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the development of propulsion hardware and related test systems. In this role you will be working with our Seattle based team to mature and document designs, add and increase engineering rigor, help deploy new test systems, and work with internal and external parties to support its fabrication. You will also be responsible for developing new test hardware and supporting ongoing development efforts. The ideal candidate will help the team in the following ways: · Develop new power electronics and analog/digital devices · Design and validate prototype hardware · Increase the engineering rigor behind the designs and formalize documentation. · Discover and incorporate design for reliability/manufacturing elements and iterate! · B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related fields · Experience with CAD software (Solidworks or other) · Experience with PCB design tools (Altium preferred) · Experience with high power electronics ( 1 kW) · Experience in requirements development and documentation · Experience in Industrial environments · Experience with written and Verbal communication in industry settings · Experience with Board bring-up · Master’s Degree or other advanced degree · Experience as technical lead of small teams · Experience with CATIA/Enovia · Experience with aviation hardware · Proficiency in Python, Matlab, or
