In addition to being one of the most-widely played game of all time, Minecraft is also increasingly used in the classroom to support learning across a wide range of subjects. We launched Minecraft: Education Edition in 2016 to meet this need and are growing rapidly to support teaching and learning. We are looking for a Director of Learning Programs with a passion for education and an entrepreneurial spark to join us in our mission to empower teachers and students with Minecraft. This is a chance to change how people teach and learn and empower future generations to build a better world. As a Director of Learning Programs for Minecraft Education, you will lead the strategy, planning and execution for our educator facing tools and resources, including training programs, community and curriculum. You'll work closely with senior engineering, marketing and business leaders across
Establish a content strategy to support increasing usage of Minecraft in classrooms around the world. The plan may include partnerships with leading education content providers, custom curriculum development, curating user generated content and other content acquisition. Basic qualifications: 5+ years of program management experience Experience leading a team Subject matter expertise in curriculum design and concepts of game-based learning Experience driving programs and solutions using direct and virtual teams Experience building collaborative working relationships across engineering, marketing, and partner teams Experience designing education content for global markets Preferred qualifications: Passion for and knowledge of games Experience with game-based learning Exceptional presentation skills Classroom teaching or school leadership experience Experience with
