The Infrastructure organization within AWS is responsible for creating an optimized supply-chain platform that delivers all of Amazon’s storage and compute capacity at the lowest possible cost. Within the AWS Infrastructure org, the Data Center Capacity Planning team is responsible for planning all of AWS's Data Center Infrastructure across a rapidly growing global footprint. We are looking to hire an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer on this team in order to build efficient, flexible, and scalable data and reporting solutions that help us solve our most challenging problems. The ideal candidate for this role is highly skilled in both SQL and Tableau, and also brings experience building reliable data pipelines for our business customers. The ideal candidate is also
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field · 5+ years of experience in BI engineering, Analytics or related field · 3+ years of experience using SQL to query relevant datasets · Understanding of ETL, data modeling, business intelligence architecture, and understanding of Data Warehousing concepts with a track record of applying these concepts on the job · Experience building self-service reporting solutions using business intelligence software · Experience working in large-scale Tableau Server environment · Experience with AWS Redshift and S3 · Experience with scripting languages
